Conservation Consultation at Remote Nunnery

Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues,

Today’s work was on-site consultation at a remote nunnery, Rachen Nunnery, located across a long suspension bridge over a raging river, and then another bridge across a dry river. I had visited this nunnery twice before, and this time they officially requested that I return for conservation help with the thangkas and clay tablets in their old nunnery shrine hall. It is a spectacular location, surrounded by rising mountains with whiter ice mountains behind mountains. Here are some images, what do you think?
